How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to communicate with you and improve Cruise Offer Hub.

  • Create and operate your Cruise Offer Hub account.
  • Track sailings and cabin prices, compare offers, maintain your Offer Vault, and deliver the alerts you request.
  • Process scans, maintain the shared offer and sailing catalog, compare scanned offers with your selected profile, and save or refresh offers when you request it or enable automatic import.
  • Send product and account updates.
  • Respond to questions or support requests.
  • Improve our website, features, and user experience.
  • Send important service announcements.
  • Operate the Cruiser Lounge, display member profiles and submitted content, maintain roll calls, and provide community rankings and insights.
  • Review reports, enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, protect users, and keep the service secure.

Skipper AI and Your Information

Skipper (Concierge AI) uses OpenAI’s API to answer cruise-planning questions. When you ask a question, our AI service processes your question, relevant conversation context, and selected records available to your account. Depending on the question, these records can include your primary traveler’s saved offers, eligible sailings, cabin categories, upgrade estimates, price history, and selected drink or dining package records.

  • We send the question, relevant conversation context, and selected source facts to OpenAI to generate an answer. Our AI tools exclude payment card details, booking notes, and reservation or loyalty identifiers from their account-data queries. Information you type yourself can still contain personal information.
  • We try to remove obvious sensitive identifiers from questions and feedback before saving or processing them, but this is a limited filter. Do not enter passwords, payment details, passport information, reservation or loyalty numbers, or unnecessary personal information. Only submit another person’s information if you have authority to do so.
  • We save questions, generated answers, source records, conversation context, usage records, and feedback in our database to provide follow-up answers, enforce question limits, operate the service, troubleshoot failures, and review feedback. Authorized administrators can review submitted ratings and comments with the associated question and answer. Private Skipper conversations are not displayed in the Lounge or on public marketing pages.
  • Requests to OpenAI disable stored response history through the API’s response-storage setting. This is not a promise of zero provider retention: provider security and abuse-monitoring records, processing and caching, and other retention depend on the applicable API data controls and agreements. OpenAI’s API data controls are linked in the provider list below.
  • AI processing needed to answer your question and maintain its conversation is part of the requested feature. Turning off optional website analytics does not turn off this processing. Starting a new chat does not delete saved conversations. You can choose not to use Skipper and can contact support about access to or deletion of your AI records.

Offer Profiles and Account Access

Offer-owner profiles organize separate travelers within one Cruise Offer Hub account; they are not separate sign-ins or a privacy boundary between people using that account. People with access to the account or an authorized extension connection can access its available profiles and offer collections. Add another person’s information only with their permission. Your account email and full name are not used as your public Lounge name; your display name is used instead.

Browser Extension and the cruise line Sessions

The optional OfferHub Cruise Companion organizes your cruise line offers, booked cruises, purchased extras and casino points. While a supported signed-in the cruise line account page is visible, it automatically refreshes available data using read-only the cruise line JSON APIs when the required session context is ready. Public offer details from these refreshes are automatically sent to the shared catalog. Personal cruise, purchase and points captures stay in browser storage until a separate disclosed saving action; opening the companion does not approve a private cruise/purchase backup.

  • You sign in directly on your cruise line’s website. During a local refresh or manual scan, code inside that the cruise line tab uses the existing session and account or loyalty identifiers to request information from the cruise line. Session values remain transient inside the cruise line tab. We do not ask you to give OfferHub your the cruise line username or password.
  • The scan sent to OfferHub contains selected offer fields, not the cruise line session tokens, cookies, the cruise line account email, account identifiers, loyalty identifiers, or player-offer identifiers. Those credentials and identifiers are used within the cruise line tab and are not included in the upload.
  • Uploaded fields include offer codes, names, descriptions, types, booking and expiration dates, cabin benefits, guest counts, perks, free-play amounts, onboard credit, discounts, eligible ships, sailing dates, departure ports, nights, itineraries, and a scan timestamp. A fingerprint calculated from the offer details helps recognize changes and avoid duplicate entries.
  • Local review can include casino balance, tier, earning period, sailing history, booked sailings, ship and date, cabin category/number/deck, order items and statuses, purchase amounts, guest counts and activity times. the cruise line player names remain local. Booking numbers, passenger names and the cruise line contact information are excluded from normalized OfferHub planning, points and private cruise/purchase backup uploads.
  • The extension operates on supported the cruise line pages and communicates with OfferHub’s extension service. It does not collect general browsing history. the cruise line refreshes are checked against the active account and coalesced; retry alarms are for previously requested OfferHub saves and do not schedule the cruise line scans.
  • When showing package deals, the companion requests public prices using the selected ship code and sailing date, including when you are not connected to OfferHub. Requests for detailed package insights also include the public product key and category and require account access. These pricing requests do not send the cruise line credentials, booking identifiers, cabin details, guest information or your purchase amounts. The public preview contains a limited selection of deals; paid tracking and purchase assessments follow your account or sailing access.
  • Export to Excel creates a workbook of your loaded offer terms and eligible sailings locally in your browser. Exporting does not upload that file to OfferHub or include your personal reservations, purchases, casino balances or the cruise line authentication. You control any later sharing of the downloaded file.
  • Our use of data received through the extension follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Extension data is used to provide, secure and improve the disclosed cruise companion features, not sold or used for personalized advertising.

Shared Catalog and Personal Vault

Whenever the extension observes the cruise line offers through a supported signed-in session, it automatically sends normalized public offer terms, eligible sailings, cabin benefits and amounts to the general catalog used by offer search and comparison. This contribution happens without an OfferHub connection or a Scan & share or Check & share action. It includes exact FreePlay amounts extracted from the cruise line offer descriptions. Conflicting repeated-copy amounts are not treated as universal benefits. Check & share offers separately starts a comparison with your selected traveler’s private vault.

  • Catalog offer details may be displayed to other users. The shared catalog is distinct from the record that links an offer to your account and selected traveler profile; it does not display your account email or traveler name as the contributor.
  • When you request a vault comparison or initiate a manual scan while connected, the service creates a temporary scan report associated with your account, extension connection, and selected profile. It compares the scan with that profile’s saved offers so you can review additions and updates.
  • By default, you choose which offers to save. Where available on an eligible paid plan, automatic import is off until you enable it for a selected profile. It applies after scans you initiate for that profile, and the preference is stored with your account for use across connected browsers.
  • Turning off automatic import stops future automatic private-vault saves; public catalog contribution continues during automatic the cruise line refreshes and manual scans. Disconnecting stops that connection’s account access, but an unconnected scan can still contribute to the catalog. Disable or uninstall the extension to stop future automatic catalog submissions.
  • Removing a saved offer, disabling automatic import, or disconnecting the extension does not by itself delete previously contributed catalog details.

Cabin Upgrade Prices and Local Watches

Cabin upgrade previews use public offer code, ship, departure date, offered cabin type, guest coverage and any known alternative upgrade credit to match OfferHub’s existing price information. Basic family previews are available without connecting; detailed categories and comparisons require verified membership access.

  • A connected request uses your separate OfferHub connection to check feature access. Cabin lookups do not send the cruise line credentials, reservation identifiers, your paid purchase amounts or personal casino balances.
  • When you choose Save watch, the extension stores the offer and sailing context, selected category, optional target fare, initial and latest observed prices, availability and pause status locally in this browser, scoped to your connection and selected traveler.
  • These upgrade watches are checked when you open their panel or choose Check prices. Watch targets and initial prices are not uploaded as saved website watches, and this feature does not create email alerts or background the cruise line scans. You can pause or remove a watch in the companion; removing the extension clears its browser-local data.
  • The per-adult illustration divides a confirmed two-adult stateroom quote by two; offer guest coverage can differ from the quote occupancy. Final availability, taxes and booking terms must be confirmed with the cruise line.

Casino Points, Sailing History and Saved Plans

The extension keeps captured casino balances, balance changes, sailing history, entered sailing points and unfinished B2B plans in browser-local storage. Points are organized by the April 1–March 31 earning period; estimated points per sailed day are a calculation from the available balance and history.

  • When connected, casino balances, sailing history and sailing point totals are backed up to the selected OfferHub traveler profile. Favorites and complete saved plans use the account-wide planning workspace. Account access and membership requirements apply to saved plans.
  • Pending private saves are retained locally and retried against OfferHub when the extension opens and on a periodic retry alarm. Each retry remains tied to its original connection and traveler. These retries do not sca cruise in the background.
  • During automatic the cruise line refreshes and manual scans, the extension contributes observed offer codes, earning-period casino point totals, confirmed sailed-night counts and a random browser contributor identifier to internal offer and points-per-night research. This includes instant offer codes and does not require an OfferHub connection or paid membership. A numeric estimate is submitted only when the same-account balance and completed sailing history support it; known cruises awaiting confirmation defer the estimate. The research payload excludes your name, OfferHub account and profile identifiers, the cruise line credentials and identifiers, and individual sailing or booking details.
  • A separate random contributor identifier for each the cruise line account on this browser helps avoid mixing different travelers; the cruise line account identity and its local lookup key are not uploaded. Failed research submissions are kept in a bounded browser-local queue and retried without scanning the cruise line or requiring a connection. Research observations are separate from private account backups and are not shown as individual public entries. They describe observed associations rather than cruise-line offer qualification thresholds or official theoretical-loss ADT. Aggregated comparisons require sufficient evidence.
  • Disconnecting stops further private account access through that connection; it does not erase saved points, plans, local history or prior research contributions. Clearing browser storage removes local history and pending saves, but does not delete server-side records. Contact support for questions about removing account data.

Private Cruise Backups and Extension Support

  • When private backup is available, you review the destination account and traveler, the snapshot contents and the selected cruises or purchases before approving a save. Normalized snapshots can include cabin details, purchase totals and activity times, together with opaque account/reservation scope keys. They exclude the cruise line authentication, booking numbers, passenger names and the cruise line contact information. These private records are distinct from the shared offer catalog.
  • Backups remain associated with the selected account and traveler. Saved versions can be listed, reopened, restored separately from live the cruise line data or removed using the available controls. Pending retries remain bound to the original destination. Deleted snapshots retain limited revision/idempotency metadata to stop an old retry from recreating them; deleting a backup does not erase the underlying the cruise line booking or browser-local capture.
  • Support sends the subject, message, topic and extension version you submit to OfferHub’s existing support system, where authorized support staff can read and reply. the cruise line captures, purchases, screenshots and diagnostics are not attached automatically. Do not include passwords, payment card details or unnecessary private identifiers.
  • Disconnecting or uninstalling does not delete previously approved server records. Browser clearing/uninstall removes local extension storage; use backup/account controls or contact support to request deletion of server-side personal information.

Extension Connections and Browser Storage

  • Connecting authorizes the extension to access the OfferHub account and profiles you approve. The extension receives your account label, account email, profile names and identifiers, and plan allowance so it can show where offers will be saved.
  • The extension stores its separate OfferHub access token and connection information in Chrome local storage. The server stores a hashed version of that token, together with a connection identifier, account association, connection label, creation time, last-used time, and revocation status.
  • Browser-local settings include your selected profile, offer selections, and initial review tab. The current normalized scan and report reference are held in Chrome session storage. This storage is separate from your saved server-side vault and catalog.
  • You can review and revoke a connection in Account settings or disconnect from the extension. Connections expire after 90 days without use. Revocation or expiry ends authorization; it is not deletion of the underlying account, saved offers, or connection records.

Cruiser Lounge Visibility

The Cruiser Lounge is a shared community area. Your display name, avatar, membership tier, account join date, optional biography, home port, favorite ship, posts, replies, reactions, uploaded images, and cruise details you intentionally attach to a post may be visible to other signed-in members. Visible member upgrade reports can also appear on public pages with your display name, avatar, ship, sailing date, itinerary, cabin categories, and reported upgrade cost. Public pages may show an aggregate count of visible upgrade reports. Lounge administrators and moderators may also review reported or hidden content and report details. Do not post booking numbers, travel documents, financial information, precise location information, or personal information about another person without permission.

Community Activity and Moderation

We record Lounge activity such as discussion views, searches, clicks, reactions, roll-call membership, and the time you last visited certain community areas. We use this information to provide unread indicators, operate community features, understand engagement, produce aggregated insights, investigate reports, moderate content, and prevent misuse.

Cruise Line Accounts

You do not need to provide cruise line credentials to create or use an OfferHub website account. The optional casino rewards scanner does require you to be signed in directly to your cruise line in the supported tab, as explained above. Your cruise line handles your use of its website under its own policies.

Email Preferences

You can turn product tips, upgrade finds, and membership offers on or off under Account → Email preferences, or use the unsubscribe link in marketing emails. We store your choice and related preference activity to honor it. Turning marketing emails off does not turn off account notices, security or password-reset messages, billing communications, or alerts you separately request.

Cookies and Analytics

Necessary cookies and browser storage support authentication and requested preferences. Optional website page-view and feature-use analytics are off until you allow them in the privacy controls. Use Privacy settings at the bottom of any page to reject or withdraw optional analytics; a browser Global Privacy Control signal also keeps them off. See the Cookie Policy for storage purposes and durations. Clearing browser data does not delete information already saved on our servers. Operational records needed for requested features, billing, security, and moderation are separate from optional website analytics.

Billing, Documents, and Email Activity

  • Stripe processes payments. We store customer and subscription identifiers, plan status, purchase and payment-related records; payment card details are handled by Stripe.
  • If you submit a booking invoice, its contents can include traveler names, reservation numbers, fares, and itinerary details. We process documents to provide the import or review you request. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information or information you are not authorized to share.
  • Email service records may include delivery, bounce, complaint, open, and link-click events, message identifiers, and campaign attribution. Opening or clicking an email may be recorded by our email provider where tracking is enabled. Website analytics choices do not control email-provider tracking. You may opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link or Account settings.
  • When you create an account through our signup form, we record the stated Terms version and acceptance time with your account metadata.

Privacy Requests and Regional Rights

Contact support@cruiseofferhub.com to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal information. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, appeal of a denied request, or a complaint to your privacy regulator. We may verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority without requesting unnecessary information. We respond within the time required by applicable law, including any permitted extension.

  • Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to provide requested services, meet legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and preventing abuse, or with consent where required. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
  • Service providers may process information in countries other than where you live, where privacy laws may differ. Where required, transfers must use an applicable lawful mechanism and safeguards. Contact us about providers, processing locations, or transfer safeguards relevant to your information.
  • We do not sell personal information. Do not submit sensitive personal information in community posts or support requests unless necessary for the request. A privacy request does not automatically cancel a subscription; use billing settings or ask support for help with both.

Data Retention

We retain account, saved offer, catalog, connection, preference, community, moderation, and activity information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type.

  • Temporary server-side extension scan reports expire 48 hours after creation. Expired reports cannot be reviewed or imported. Cleanup runs when the extension service starts, hourly while it runs, and when staging reports. If the service is unavailable or cleanup fails, physical deletion may occur later when cleanup succeeds.
  • The 48-hour scan-report period does not apply to saved vault offers, shared catalog records (which can retain normalized offer details), account records, or backups. Disconnecting an extension does not delete those records.
  • Skipper’s conversation cleanup is designed to remove messages older than 90 days and conversations inactive for more than 90 days. Removal depends on the cleanup job running successfully and can occur later. Usage, cost, security, and administrative records are separate from conversation history and may be retained longer for the purposes described above. Provider retention is governed by its applicable API data controls and agreements, rather than this conversation cleanup period.
  • Content removed from public view may remain for moderation, security, backup, or legal purposes. Information may also remain in aggregated or de-identified form that no longer reasonably identifies you. Contact us about retention or deletion of information associated with your account.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

  • You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time or change the preference in Account settings.
  • You may update certain account and Lounge profile information from your account settings.
  • You may manage offer-owner profiles and revoke extension connections from Account settings, and change automatic-import preferences in the extension where available.
  • You may delete your own Lounge posts or leave a roll call where those controls are available.
  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Some information may be retained where permitted or required by law, for security and moderation, or to protect the rights of others.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
